Founded in 2019, Pamela Walsh Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in downtown Palo Alto presenting a dynamic exhibition program that pairs emerging and established contemporary artists with historic artists and artist estates, with a particular interest in Bay Area Figuration and its ongoing influence. Located in a historic building designed by Stanford architect Birge Clark, the gallery is dedicated to thoughtful exhibitions that explore artistic process, foster meaningful dialogue, and create connections between artists, collectors, and the broader community.
Through a program of solo and group exhibitions, the gallery creates opportunities for dialogue across artists, generations, and artistic traditions, illuminating the influences and conversations that connect contemporary practice to its historical foundations. Pamela Walsh Gallery is committed to cultivating audiences for the artists it represents while fostering a deeper understanding of the artistic lineages that continue to shape contemporary art.
In addition to its exhibition program, the gallery participates in select art fairs and provides personalized art advisory services, helping collectors build thoughtful collections through acquisitions, commissions, and collection development. Pamela Walsh Gallery has been a member of the San Francisco Art Dealers Association since 2021, and Pamela Walsh currently serves on its Board of Directors.
